CosmoCaixa Barcelona is a unique opportunity for you and your children to “touch” nature and science with your own hands. The space is divided into several expositions. El muro geológico, one of the most emblematic parts of CosmoCaixa, is an exposition composed of more than 90 tons of rocks, representing a wide range of geological structures. Each of the structures is accompanied with a specially designed experiment, showing the origin of the structure.
El bosque inundado – the only one in Europe a part of a genuine Amazon rainforest with more than 100 species of plants and animals incorporated.
La sala de materia is an exposition of more than 3 500 square meters devoted to the evolution of materia from the Big Bang till nowadays.
Click and Flash – two interactive halls designed for children of 3-6 and 7-9 years old respectively in order to stimulate their interest towards science through games and curious experiments.
Planetario / Planetario Burbuja – two planetariums created to reveal the mysteries of the Universe and to present the magical science of astronomy.
¡Toca toca! – a unique exposition, that lets you to contact directly with plants and animals from different parts of the world.

Mondays in summer, Easter and Christmas.
Closed December, 25; January, 1 and 6.
